Software tutorial

• Login on the Computer using your SUPSI credentials (name.surname or [email protected] and your personal password);

• Open the software “Trotec Ruby”;

• Log in with these credentials:

  • Charlotte Perriand:
    • [email protected]

  

  Login page

• If the message “Job Control isn’t running. Do you want to switch to Ruby?” appears, accept it with “Yes”;

• Move to the drawing section to import a file or open an exist drawing;

  

  Homepage

• Import a file (.pdf; .svg; .ai; .png; .jpg; .jpeg; .bmp; .tsf; .tld; .tlj; .zip; .dxf;);

  

  Drawing section

• If the drawing is blank, select the entire worksheet and click on the highlighted icon;

  

  Detect lines command

• Select the line and the corresponding color taking in consideration that:

  • Black = Engraving
  • Red = Light Cut
  • Blue = Cut

• If you need to change color fill or outline, you can click on the highlighted icon;

  

  Fill/Outline command

• Select fit to design and adapt

• Save the drawing, and repeat the process with other drawings if needed;

• After having all the drawings prepared, you can move to the Work section;
